Biocontrol Technologies partners with Wilbur-Ellis to distribute T34 Biocontrol in the U.S.

Biocontrol Technologies has entered into a distribution agreement with Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness to commercialize T34 Biocontrol in the United States, expanding access to the biological crop protection product through the retailer’s national distribution network. 

Under the agreement, Wilbur-Ellis will distribute T34 Biocontrol to U.S. growers while providing technical support through its agronomic network. The companies said the partnership is intended to increase adoption of biological disease management tools across key agricultural regions.

T34 Biocontrol is based on the beneficial microorganism Trichoderma asperellum strain T34. The product is designed to help manage foliar and soil-borne fungal diseases while supporting root health and plant resilience. It is intended for use in high-value crops and can be incorporated into integrated pest management (IPM) programs alongside conventional crop protection practices.

Eduard Fernando, general manager of Biocontrol Technologies, said the agreement represents an important step in the company’s U.S. growth strategy and provides a platform to expand access to T34 Biocontrol through Wilbur-Ellis’ commercial and technical network.

Biological crop protection products have become an increasingly important component of disease management programs as growers seek additional tools that complement conventional fungicides and support sustainability goals.
