Southwest Michigan Horticultural Days set for February

The 2025 Southwest Michigan Horticultural Days will be Feb. 5-6 at Lake Michigan College’s Mendel Center in Benton Township, Michigan.

The event is organized each year by the Michigan Grape Society and Michigan State University Extension.

The two days of educational sessions will cover topics on juice and winegrapes, blueberries, marketing, tree fruit and general information. The 2024 event’s educational sessions covered topics including farm sustainability, soil management, pest and disease management, farm insurance needs and annual crop rotation options. The event also included a day of vegetable information.

MSU Extension educators, commercial growers, and outside experts will provide informative talks and answer questions in the educational sessions, according to a news release.
