Texas A&M hosts ‘Growing pecans in South Central Texas’

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will be hosting the evening event, “Growing pecans in South Central Texas,” sponsored by the Washington County Horticulture Society.

Topics will include selecting the proper variety for a grower’s conditions, establishing and maintaining pecan trees, and managing pests and disease.

Attendees will qualify for two CEUs, one for general education and one for integrated pest management.

The event will also feature a pecan show of submissions from growers in Washington and Waller counties.

Date: Nov. 30, 2022
Time: 6 pm – 8 pm (Registration: 5:30 pm)
Cost: $10 ea. through 11/25; $20 ea. at the door
