Oct 2, 2024USDA to host virtual meeting for ag data users
The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service will host its biannual Data Users’ Meeting on Oct. 15-16, offering an online forum for stakeholders to discuss recent and upcoming changes in agricultural statistical programs.
The meeting, which will be held via Zoom, is free and open to the public, though registration is required.
The event, organized in collaboration with several federal agencies, including the Farm Service Agency and the U.S. Census Bureau, aims to share updates and gather feedback from participants on programs that impact the agricultural sector.
“The meeting provides an open forum for questions and feedback, which is vital for refining our statistical programs,” said Lance Honig, chair of the Agricultural Statistics Board. “It ensures we continue to provide timely and accurate statistics for U.S. agriculture.”
The first day will focus on updates from various agencies, while the second day will feature an open forum and breakout sessions. A detailed agenda and registration information are available on the NASS website. Links to the Zoom meeting will be sent to registered participants.
