Almond Board of California 2025 board of directors election cycle now open
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Almond Board of California elections. Get more details on the open positions and application process.
There are four seats available:
- Independent grower, one-year term
- Independent grower, three-year term
- Independent handler, one-year term
- Independent handler, three-year term
To qualify for a grower or alternate position, candidates must be a current almond grower and submit a petition signed by at least 15 independent almond growers. Independent handler candidates must submit a written declaration of intent to ABC. All filings must include the specific position the candidate is seeking.
The deadline for all fillings is April 1. All petitions and declarations must be emailed to ABC or printed and mailed to ABC, 1150 Ninth St., Suite 1500, Modesto, CA 95354.
The ABC Board of Directors oversees key areas such as marketing, production research, public relations and food safety, as well as setting policies and recommending budgets to guide the Almond Board’s work. The positions also offer a platform for members to promote California almonds domestically and internationally, while ensuring sustainable agricultural practices and advancing health research related to almonds.
