ABC’s Global, Technical and Regulatory Affairs (GTRA) staff conducted an online transportation survey with major handlers in January on the economic impact of the supply chain problems experienced this past year that are spilling into 2022. The team will share some of the results of the survey and try to highlight how these problems are affecting pricing, production costs and making logistics a major hurdle in moving product. In addition, GTRA staff will provide a quick update on progress made with FDA in registering processing facilities for shipments to China which is our third largest market overseas.
