Chestnut growers set to gain insights on crops, pests through MSU’s Chestnut Chat Series
Chestnut growers set to gain insights on crops, pests through MSU’s Chestnut Chat Series on Aug. 15 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
These informal sessions include crop and pest updates from Rob Sirrine, Ph.D. and Erin Lizotte, along with deep dives by university specialists on topics like disease management and irrigation. Michigan certified applicators can earn one pesticide credit per session attended.
Veteran growers and MSU faculty will address timely issues and provide research updates. Growers are encouraged to bring field notes to discuss what’s happening in their orchards.
