Nov 6, 2024Key Technology unveils high-capacity vibratory conveyors for advanced food processing
Key Technology, a food handling systems provider, has launched a new line of high-capacity vibratory conveyors designed to meet the demands of large-scale food processors.
These conveyors can handle up to 100,000 pounds per hour and offer customizable options for grading, aligning, distributing and other specialized applications in food processing.
“As demand for processed foods continues to grow, processors are looking to maximize production capacity on existing lines and install new lines capable of higher-than-ever throughputs,” said Jack Lee, president of Duravant Group’s food sorting and handling solutions. “Key’s high-capacity conveyors support these objectives while helping processors streamline their operations, reduce labor and maximize profits.”
The new conveyor models (Iso-Flo, Impulse, Zephyr, and Marathon) have been designed with flexibility, aiming to provide efficient handling of a wide variety of foods. The systems are engineered with Key’s expertise in natural frequency, electromagnetic and horizontal-motion conveying, which enables processors to tailor each conveyor’s settings to match specific application needs.
“These conveyors are not one-size-fits-all; they are custom-designed based on the unique requirements of each application,” Lee said. “This level of customization requires a sophisticated understanding of how different foods need to be conveyed – not just any equipment manufacturer can do this.”
Key’s conveyors offer a range of advanced features, including options for spring arm and drive positioning, as well as different installation methods, such as overhead suspension, floor support, or mounting to other machinery. This versatility enables processors to integrate the conveyors seamlessly into various processing lines.
Backed by Key’s industry-leading warranty and global support network, these new conveyors are designed for reliability and ease of maintenance, ultimately lowering the total cost of ownership for food processors.
Headquartered in Walla Walla, Washington, Key Technology continues to innovate in food handling and sorting solutions for the global market. For more information on the new conveyor line, visit key.net.
