May 3, 2022Northeast Georgia pecan producers May workshop set
The Northeast Georgia Pecan Producers Workshop will take place Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
The event is being held at Jolly Pecan Farms, 6090 Shoals Rd., Sparta, and will cover topics such as pest scouting and integrated pest management, maximizing fertilization without maximizing budgets, and preparing and planning an orchard site.
Pre-registration is available at https://tinyurl.com/NEPecan22. There is a $20 registration fee due the day of the event, and payable by cash or check. Lunch and materials are provided.
Participants will receive Georgia Pesticide Credits in Category 24 (3 hrs) and Category 10 (1 hr).
