PhycoTerra soil microbial food featured on Discovery Channel docuseries

PhycoTerra, the soil microbial food that helps farmers boost soil health and crop yield, will be featured on the new docuseries “Live to Farm,” now airing on The Discovery Channel, RFD-TV, and streaming services.

From the producers of “Corn Warriors,” “Live to Farm” follows two farming families, the Kalbs and Cardinals, on their outstanding operations from planting to postharvest and everything in between. A combination of documentary-style television and agriculture education, “Live to Farm” brings rural American life to homes around the world.

PhycoTerra will be featured in several episodes of the show beginning in episode seven, “Girls Just Wanna Have Farms,” where Cassidy Million, Heliae’s director of ag science, will walk through the on-farm PhycoTerra trial with Kevin Kalb. In episode eight, “Don’t Fear the Reaper,” Million and Kalb discuss harvest and performance results of PhycoTerra. Finally, Heliae CEO Eric Lichtenheld will join Kalb in episode 10, “The End is the Beginning,” to discuss the importance of soil microbes in crop health and yield.

Heliae is also a proud presenting sponsor of the show.

The show airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on RFD-TV and Saturdays at 6:00 a.m. ET/PT on The Discovery Channel. Viewers can also watch the show on streaming services, including Amazon Prime, Carbon TV, and YouTube TV.

PhycoTerra feature episodes:

Episode 7: Nov. 17 on RFD-TV and Nov. 19 on The Discovery Channel
Episode 8: Nov. 24 on RFD-TV and Nov. 26 on The Discovery Channel
Episode 10: Dec. 22 on RFD-TV and Dec. 24 on The Discovery Channel
