Almond Board of California will be hosting a discussion on the upcoming 2023 Farm Bill on July 12, 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM Pacific, as part of the regular Training Tuesday program.
The session will include the discussion of what the bill is, will preview the upcoming processes, and will highlight provisions that are key to the almond industry. The session will also cover how Farm Bills are put together, how provisions are expanding to include more commodities, as well as some potential complications and outcomes.
Preparations are underway for the 2023 Farm Bill, as the 2018 Farm Bill will expire next year.
