Registration now open for GPGA annual conference
In addition to education sessions, the conference will host its annual golf tournament, skeet shoot tournament and an orchard tour.
For the 2023 show, the conference returns to Perry, Georiga, at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. The 13th Annual Golf Tournament will kick off at 10:00 AM on Tues., March 28 in Perry at the Houston Lake Country Club. The 2nd Annual Skeet Shoot Tournament will take place on Tues., March 28 at 11:30 AM at Meadows Gun Club in Forsyth. On the evening of Tues., March 28, GPGA will host the Conference Welcome Reception at the Main Exhibit Hall of the fairgrounds.
On Wed., March 29 the first day of educational conference sessions begin with complimentary coffee and doughnuts at 7:30 AM. The Annual Awards Luncheon will be held at noon at the fairgrounds. Second-day conference activities include the educational sessions and will wrap up at 5:00 PM that day. The Perry area offers many locations for dinner and allows for further networking time.
Be on the lookout for hard-copy registration packets that have been sent out through the mail. GPGA would like to apologize for one mistake in the hard copies of the registration forms: The Beginners Pecan Production Course pricing currently listed in the hard copy forms is incorrect. The correct registration fee for this course will be $50 per person. This registration fee will include the full-day training course, the Southeastern Pecan Growers Handbook (retail value of $30.00), and lunch on Tues., March 28.
