Soil retention adjuvant EFFICAX now approved for use in California

Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness, a recognized leader in precision agriculture, crop protection, seed, and nutritional products, announced on August 13 the registration of soil retention adjuvant EFFICAX for use in California. This product helps growers maximize the efficiency of soil-applied residual herbicides.
“From specialty markets to row crops, California has a wide variety of production systems – all of which can benefit from increased coverage, absorption and adhesion of spray material deposits in their soils,” said Terry Abbott, adjuvant portfolio manager, Wilbur-Ellis.
EFFICAX can improve control of early-season weeds by getting more herbicide on target, holding it in place longer, and ensuring herbicide investments are more effective than ever. EFFICAX has excellent tank-mix compatibility and can be used with most preferred herbicides. By enhancing the residual activity of soil-applied herbicides, you can also get better burndown and improved control of winter annual and perennial weeds this coming fall.
“When you’re investing in soil-applied herbicides for your crops, why leave residual activity to chance?” questioned Abbott. “The use of EFFICAX enables growers to take weed control to the next level by helping the products applied to fields stay on target and in place.”
