UC Talk: Best management practices for navel orangeworm

A discussion of navel orangeworm is scheduled as part of a webinar: UC AG Expert Talk: Best Management Practices for Navel Orangeworm in Nut Crops, scheduled for Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. Pacific time.

In this webinar, David Haviland will discuss navel orangeworm, the most important insect pest of almonds and pistachios and also a pest of walnuts.

Sanitation, monitoring programs, timely harvest, insecticides and mating disruption will be discussed as integral parts of an integrated pest management program against this pest.

One DPR CE unit (other) and one CCA CE unit (IPM) were requested.

Just as a reminder, here are the requirements for receiving the CEUs:
-register separately with your own name and email address and log in from your own device
-participate in the entire session
-complete and pass a final test with 70% or higher. If not passed, you may retake the test.
