University of Georgia offers Small Pecan Producer’s Workshop

This one-day workshop is designed to provide hands-on learning to teach smaller growers to adapt production techniques.

University of Georgia (UGA) Cooperative Extension and the Georgia Pecan Growers Association will hold a Small Pecan Producer’s Workshop presented by Andrew Sawyer, UGA pecan specialist, on July 14 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The workshop will be held at Heritage Farm and Forest, 1671 McCormick Highway, Lincolnton, Georgia, 30817.

Join UGA Extension for a hands-on small pecan production workshop in Lincoln County. Sawyer’s presentation will explore “Adapting Production Techniques for Small or Established Orchards.”

Registration is required, with $15 fee paid upon check-in on day of the program. Lunch included.
