Noble Research Institute launches pecan strategy research projects
The 6-year monitoring program will look at soil health, ecosystem resiliency and profit per acre. Tests are covered by the program, and a team of pecan experts is staffed to help.
The Noble Research Institute (“Noble”) is hosting a 6-year monitoring program beginning in 2023 with the goal of increasing grower profitability while simultaneously improving the soil.

The program takes a look orchard practices to asses soil health, ecosystem resiliency and profit per acre, and the costs of monitoring tests required by the program will be cover by Noble.
Farmers can track their progress online using different scorecards, and will need to share farm data with Noble in order for Noble to conduct some assessments.
