Texas A&M hosts ‘Growing pecans in South Central Texas’
This evening event will cover choosing varieties, establishing trees and managing pests, in addition to featuring a pecan competition of the counties’ grower submissions.
Topics will include selecting the proper variety for a grower’s conditions, establishing and maintaining pecan trees, and managing pests and disease.
Attendees will qualify for two CEUs, one for general education and one for integrated pest management.
