Treehouse California Almonds has been recognized with the New Hope Regeneration and Sustainability Award for its contributions to promoting sustainable almond farming.
The award, presented in March at the New Hope Community Purpose and Impact Awards during the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, honors the collaborative efforts of The Almond Project.
The Almond Project, a multi-year, farmer-led initiative, aims to develop more sustainable almond farming practices to ensure a resilient future for the industry. Treehouse Almonds collaborates with partners including White Buffalo Land Trust, Pacific Ag Management, Simple Mills, Daily Harvest and Cappello’s.
“We are extremely proud to work closely with our partners to lead a movement that’s important both to the environment and to the communities that rely on agriculture to sustain their daily lives,” Treehouse Almonds stated on its website.
The award highlights the project’s role in bringing together advocates to improve the health of the nation’s food system. The Natural Products Expo West is a trade show for the natural, organic and healthy products industry, drawing attention to significant advancements in sustainability.
