UC Davis launches survey on cover crops in California pistachio orchards
UC Davis is surveying pistachio growers on cover crop practices. Take the survey to help guide future research and industry outreach.
The survey is voluntary and takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes to complete. UC Davis is inviting pistachio growers, farm managers, consultants and certified crop advisers to participate.
Researchers are exploring the potential benefits of cover crops in pistachio orchards, including improving soil health, addressing soil salinity, increasing water infiltration, and maintaining crop yields and quality.
Participants can complete the California pistachio cover crop survey online. The survey is anonymous, and no personal data will be collected.
