The Almond Board (ABC) will host the Almond Conference (TAC) on Dec. 10-12 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California. This annual event focuses on the industry, research and education.
TAC also offers participants networking opportunities the almond industry’s growers, researchers and stakeholders.
State of the Industry
From 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 10, Clarice Turner, CEO and chair for the Almond Board, along with industry experts will discuss global economic trends, innovative marketing strategies and research efforts driving demand for almonds.
Almond Achievement Awards
TAC will also recognize achievements during the annual event. Nominations for the Almond Achievement and Almond Technical Achievement Awards are open now through Oct. 29. To nominate an individual, click here.
Researcher Meet + Greet
On Dec. 11, a variety of ABC-funded research initiatives will be on display, and conference attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with researchers.
Charitable efforts
Additionally, ABC will host its Silent Auction to support California FFA’s scholarship fund, with all proceeds going to this cause. Donations can be made to support the scholarship fund.
