Firman Pollen names Donny Leadon as part of sales team

Yakima,Washington-based Firman Pollen, an industry leader in supplying supplemental pollen since 1933, has hired Donny Leadon in sales and business development.

“Donny is an outstanding addition to the team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are more than excited to have him be a part of Firman Pollen,” said Ryan Reisbick, CEO and third generation manager of Firman Pollen.

Leadon brings with him a diverse background in sales and business relations from Fortune 500 companies like Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, Target and most recently, sales and service manager at Cintas for five years.

“I’m looking forward to being a part of an established industry leader like Firman Pollen, and I am  passionate to see the area continue to flourish with all of our Agriculture business,” Leadon said.

Born and raised in Yakima, Washington Leadon graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.  Leadon will offer strategic counsel to current clients, publicly representing Firman at industry events, trade shows and new client presentations.

For four generations, the Firman Pollen Co. has supplied supplemental pollen to customers across America and around the world. The pollen is used to increase crop size where pollination problems are limiting fruit production or fruit quality. Pollination problems associated with poor weather, weak beehives, or limited bloom overlap can be minimized as soon as they are apparent.

The Firman Pollen Co. supplies high-quality pollen for apples, pears, almonds, cherries, plums apricot and nectarines. Firman Pollen has been working with food producers since 1933.
