Mar 2, 2021March 8 set for California ‘Cover Crops in Orchards Field Day’
University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE)/University of California (UC), Davis Plant Sciences Virtual Field Day “Cover Crops in Orchards” will be held March 8.
This “virtual tour” is the outcome of a three-year research project sponsored by the CDFA Healthy Soils Initiative and carried out in Lake County by UC Davis M.S. student Juliana Wu, her major advisor Astrid Volder and Kelseyville grower-cooperator David Mostin in collaboration with UCCE.
This will be final “look” at the trial site and a chance to learn about and discuss local cover crop field research with trial organizers and participants.
The session will be held from 10 a.m. – noon Pacific.
