The California State Beekeepers’ Association (CSBA) is seeking proposals for research conducted in the area of honeybee health and management for the 2024 Season.
Proposals should be include highly focused research in a single year that seeks to find solutions to beekeeping challenges.
2024 FUNDING PRIORITIES
Priority funding in 2024 will be provided to research projects that address:
- Tropilaelaps mites
- Novel and viable options for varroa mite management
- Quality and health of reproductive castes continue to be an issue for beekeepers
- Pesticide hazards to bees
