Almond Board training: 3D tree tech for almond orchard systems
Find out how 3D technology will help the industry with almond orchard design and management in this Training Tuesday from the Almond Board.
Through three-dimensional technology, Almond Board of California has funded research to better understand irrigation system design, water transport in the soil and tree canopy, and root systems. Brian Bailey and Astrid Volder from the University of California, Davis, will walk participants through their latest research results, giving an opportunity to learn how three-dimensional, computer-aided design will allow the industry to gain new knowledge in horticulture management.
