Jun 20, 2023American Society of Agronomy hosts annual Sustainable Agronomy Conference
The American Society of Agronomy will host the 6th Annual Sustainable Agronomy Conference in a virtual-event series. Thanks to its generous sponsors, this series is free to all attendees!
The conference consists of sessions over four weeks starting on July 12, with one two-hour session held each week. This conference provides CCAs, agri-sales professionals and growers with the opportunity to learn about the latest in-field, sustainable agronomic practices and principles. The mission of the conference is to provide education in a science-based, unbiased way.
Topics
- July 12: Utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for Sustainable Crop Management
- July 19: Preserving Pest Management Options through Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Principles
- July 26: Building Sustainable Management Systems through the 4R Principles
- August 2: Decoding the Basics of Carbon and Ecosystems Services Markets for Short- and Long-term Success
Unlike other sustainability or agronomy conferences that describe broad research findings, this conference will be action-oriented, practical, interactive and applied with a focus on decision support and execution. The mission of the conference is to have attendees leave with information that allows them to confidently recommend to clients and implement in the field. Speakers, moderators and panel participants will have a deep understanding of “why” and “how” to implement sustainable agronomy.
