Meridian Growers notes stabilization in nut pricing this past week

Meridian Growers released its market update on March 26. In the update the company noted that the pistachio market remained steady, with no noticeable change.

Falling prices continued in the almond market according to the update. Meridian Growers stated in the update that the decline in prices “created some confusion between buyers and sellers as to what the right price is.” The company also noted that prices are still expected to decline, albeit more slowly.

Pecans experienced price stabilization from last week and remained neutral.
