Reinke Manufacturing, an irrigation systems provider, has announced a $12 million investment in modernizing and automating its manufacturing facilities in Deshler, Nebraska. The investment aims to enhance production capacity and efficiency by implementing advanced robotic technologies.
The new robotic systems, showcased at Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, Nebraska will streamline the production of Reinke’s precision irrigation systems. These technologies include vision systems for part orientation and inspection capabilities for finished products, aiming to improve production speed and product quality.
“This is a monumental day for Reinke,” said Chris Roth, president of Reinke. “The introduction of advanced robotic technologies will allow us to increase production capacity and provide consistent quality to the products we deliver to growers worldwide.”
The modernization project will expand Reinke’s production footprint and is expected to be completed by the 2025 growing season.
