The Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) is organizing the Best of the West — Global Buyers Event for April 2026, bringing international food buyers to California growers and exporters of tree nuts, dried fruit and related specialty foods. The multi‑city trade mission runs April 14–17, 2026, with registration open through March 13, 2026.
The event offers U.S. suppliers multiple opportunities to connect directly with international buyers from the ASEAN region, India, Japan and South Korea through structured business meetings and a product showcase. Participating companies can build relationships, assess market demand and gain insights from qualified buyers actively sourcing Western U.S. products.

Event itinerary
- April 14 – San Francisco: Full-day one-on-one business meetings with pre-selected international buyers. Meetings last up to 20 minutes each, giving suppliers focused time to showcase products and discuss opportunities. A networking luncheon with a guest speaker on global food market trends is included.
- April 16 – Fresno: Product showcase where companies can present their offerings in an open-trade environment. The showcase encourages organic interactions between buyers and sellers, providing additional visibility without scheduled appointments.
- April 17 – Los Angeles: Second full day of one-on-one business meetings with international buyers, similar to the San Francisco sessions. WUSATA team members and in-market representatives will be available for consultations throughout the event.
Participation and registration details
Registration for the event will close on March 13, 2026. Participation in the one-on-one meetings is priced at $300 per company, which includes one representative, with additional representatives available for $150 each. The product showcase is $150 per company, with additional representatives for $75 each. Space is limited to 20 companies per location, so early registration is recommended to secure a spot.
The Best of the West — Global Buyers Event is part of WUSATA’s ongoing efforts to support U.S. agricultural exporters and increase access to key global markets. By facilitating direct engagement between Western U.S. food exporters, including tree nut and dried fruit producers, and international buyers, the event aims to expand export opportunities and strengthen long-term commercial relationships.
