The Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) will hold its Northern California FundMatch Workshop & Roadshow Sept. 23-25, 2025, aimed at helping agribusinesses, including nut growers and processors, boost international marketing efforts.
The roadshow will visit three cities, with specific locations announced soon:
- Redding on Sept. 23
- Chico on Sept. 24
- Sacramento on Sept. 25
Each day features tailored workshops and personalized consultations to guide companies through the FundMatch program, which reimburses up to 50% of eligible international marketing expenses, with a maximum of $300,000 annually.
FundMatch supports a wide range of activities, from trade show participation and digital advertising to packaging redesign and in-store promotions — tools that can help nut producers expand export markets.
Senior Engagement Executive Hayden Romig will lead deep-dive sessions on program enrollment, application processes, documentation, claims and reimbursement timelines. Participants can also schedule one-on-one meetings with export consultants for advice on navigating trade barriers, budgeting, market entry strategies and compliance with international regulations.
The workshops are presented in partnership with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and include industry presentations and networking opportunities.
Registration costs $25 per person and includes lunch. Space is limited. Nut growers and processors interested in expanding their international footprint are encouraged to register early online.
