The American Pistachio Growers (APG) Conference will take place Feb. 16–18 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California, bringing together pistachio growers, processors and industry stakeholders for education, networking and industry updates.
The 2026 APG conference opens Monday, Feb. 16, with afternoon registration and a welcome reception, along with a PAC golf tournament and evening networking events designed to connect growers and industry partners ahead of the educational program.
Programming begins in earnest Tuesday, Feb. 17, with a State of the Industry session, followed by presentations examining global pistachio marketing trends, expanding demand in international markets, and how brands and supply chains are positioning pistachios worldwide. Water management and resource-focused discussions will also be featured, reflecting ongoing production challenges. The day includes a trade show networking hour and evening social events.
Sessions continue Wednesday, Feb. 18, with updates on nutrition research, international trade and policy issues, and state and federal government and PAC priorities. Sustainability remains a key theme, with sessions addressing pest management, soil health and water use efficiency. A featured presentation will spotlight pistachio grower and ultramarathon runner Christian Brown Johnson, who will share insights on endurance, recovery and pistachios’ role in athletic performance.
The conference concludes with a closing celebration, offering additional opportunities for networking and informal discussion.
